Women are the most important and active participants in their own healthcare.  My role is to provide you with information, guidance, and time.

why i do what i do

My first experience with a midwife was so gentle and calming that I barely felt the exam.  I literally asked her if she'd done a pap at all.  She was open and familiar, and took the time to listen to and understand my concerns.  I didn't feel rushed, judged, or even the slightest bit uncomfortable.  This is what every woman should experience during her healthcare encounters.  This is the epitome of midwifery care.
